This is a mandatory unit that replaces PA1. There are no pre - requites but due to the use of pesticides, it is important that you are able to read and interpret product information in order to participate in this course.

This course replaces PA1 & PA6 Units 101, 151 & 152. There are no pre - requisites but candidates will need to pass the PA1 assessment to progress to PA6 training & assessment.

This course for Pesticides – Special Category is to accommodate any item of pesticide application equipment for which there is no category in the existing suite of schedules (PA2 – PA13). Typical examples of equipment which would qualify for a Safe Application of Pesticides Using Specialist Equipment assessment would be:-

Automated glasshouse sprayers.

Multi-modal applicators on potato planters.

Rail-track bankside spraying modules.

If you are involved in the application of pesticides with hand held hydraulic nozzle applicators, then this training course is for you.

We now offer a 1-day training course which covers the following most-requested PA6 Units: Pesticide Plugs (replaces PA6PP) Hand Held Stem Injection (replaces PA6INJ) Hand Held Applicators for Stump Treatment Applications (replaces PA6MC).
This course starts with all of the compulsory theory applicable to all three units such as health and safety and legislation.

This Boom Sprayer course is for anyone who uses boom spraying equipment as part of their work. If you would like to attend this course you must be able to proficiently use, and drive the particular vehicle(s) used during the training.
We can offer training for either Boom Sprayer – Hydraulic Nozzle or Rotary Atomiser depending on your make/model of machine.
