Aerial Based Courses

Duration: 6 days including assessment

Pre-requisites:  None, however trainees must be physically fit and not suffering from vertigo or similar conditions or on medication that could affect your safety.

Duration: 1 day workshop

Pre-requisites:  Trainees must hold a Certificate of Competence for Basic Tree Climbing & Aerial Rescue (CS38 / 0020-13) prior to attending this workshop.

Duration: 6 days including assessment

Pre-requisites: Candidates must hold a Certificate of Competence for Chainsaw Maintenance & Cross-Cutting (0020-03 / CS30) Felling & Processing Trees up to 380mm (0020-04 / CS31) Tree Climbing & Rescue (0020-13 / CS38) & Aerial Cutting of Trees with a Chainsaw using Free-fall Techniques (0021-08 / CS39) prior to attending this course.

Duration:  4 days including assessment

Pre-requisites: Candidates must hold a Certificate of Competence for Chainsaw Maintenance & Cross-Cutting (CS30 / 0020-03,) Felling Trees up to 380mm (CS31 / 0020-04) & Basic Tree Climbing & Aerial Rescue (CS38 / 0020-13) prior to attending this course. Learners must be physically fit and not suffering from vertigo or similar conditions or on medication that could affect your safety.

Duration:  2 days including assessment (per 2 candidates)

Pre-requisites: Trainees must hold a Certificate of Competence for 0020-03 / CS30, 0020-04/CS31, 0020-13/ CS38  & 0021-08/CS39 prior to attending this course. Learners must be physically fit and not suffering from vertigo or similar conditions or on medication that could affect your safety.

Duration: 4 days including assessment

Pre-requisites: Trainees for this course must have a comprehensive knowledge of modern arboricultural practice, particularly relating to tree climbing and rigging techniques and the associated equipment used in such operations.  They will typically come from an arboriculture contracting background, but could also include those involved in associated roles provided they have the relevant knowledge and experience of arboricultural equipment and the circumstances in which it is commonly used.
