The MOD’s Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC) Scheme supports Service Leavers and promotes lifelong learning amongst members of the Armed Forces, by providing financial support over up to three separate financial years. This funding allows learners to progress into higher-level qualifications (Level 3 and above, or approved international equivalents) with trusted, approved Learning Providers.
By providing financial support in up to three separate financial years, the scheme enables higher-level learning through nationally recognised qualifications at Level 3 or above (or an approved international equivalent) with an approved Learning Provider.

Please note: To enrol in our Level 3 courses, you must have successfully completed all required pre-requisite lower level courses beforehand. These prerequisite courses cannot be funded through ELCAS and must be self funded or supported through alternative funding. Service Leavers may be able to use resettlement funding for Level 1–3 courses.
