Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-cutting CPD

Duration: 1 Day

Pre-requisites: Candidates must hold a City & Guilds Certificate of Competence for Chainsaw Maintenance & Cross-cutting (0039-20 / 0020-03) or equivalent Lantra Awards qualification prior to attending this refresher training.

Felling & Processing Trees over 380mm Lantra Refresher

Duration: 2 Days

Pre-requisites: Candidates must hold a City & Guilds Certificate of Competence for Chainsaw Maintenance & Cross-cutting (0039-20 / 0020-03), Felling Trees up to 380mm (0039-21 / 0020-04) and Felling Trees over 380mm (0039-33 / 0021-01) or equivalent Lantra Awards qualification prior to attending this refresher training.

Access a Tree Using a Rope & Harness and Aerial Tree Rescue CPD

Duration: 2 Days

Pre-requisites: Candidates must hold a City & Guilds Certificate of Competence for Basic Tree Climbing & Aerial Rescue (0039-22 / 0020-13) or equivalent Lantra Awards prior to attending this refresher training and have a good level of fitness.

Chainsaw from Rope & Harness CPD

Duration: 1 Day

Pre-requisites: Candidates must hold a City & Guilds Certificate of Competence for Aerial Cutting of Trees with a Chainsaw using Free-Fall Techniques (0039-23 / 0021-08) or equivalent Lantra Awards qualification prior to attending this course. Learners must be physically fit and not suffering from vertigo or similar conditions or on medication that could affect your safety.

Aerial Tree Rigging CPD

Duration: 2 Days

Pre-requisites: Candidates must hold a City & Guilds Certificate of Competence for Chainsaw Maintenance & Cross-cutting (0039-20 / 0020-03), Felling Trees up to 380mm (0039-21 / 0020-04), Tree Climbing & Rescue (0039-22 / 0020-13), Aerial Cutting of Trees with a Chainsaw using Free-Fall Techniques (0039-23 / 0021-08) and Aerial Tree Rigging (0039-32 / 0021-09) or equivalent Lantra Awards qualification prior to attending this course.

Thorough Inspection of Arboriculture Lifting Equipment - LOLER (Lantra)

Duration: 1 Day

Pre-requisites: Candidates must already hold a Certificate of Competence for Thorough Examination of Arboricultural Equipment (XARB03) prior to attending this refresher training.

Duration: 1 Day

Pre-requisites: Candidates must have previously attended and passed the Lantra Awards 3-day Professional Tree Inspection course

Refresher Safe Use & Application of Pesticides Using Handheld Equipment (PA1 & PA6) (Lantra)

Duration: 3 days for occasional users

Pre-requisites: Candidates must hold City & Guilds 0216-49 / PA1 Principles of Safe Handling & Application of Pesticides and 0216-54 / PA6 Safe Application of Pesticides using Handheld Equipment or equivalent Lantra Awards qualfications prior to attending this refresher training.
