Pre-requisites: Candidates must hold a Certificate of Competence for Chainsaw Maintenance & Cross-Cutting, Felling Trees up to 380mm, Basic Tree Climbing & Aerial Rescue. Learners must be physically fit and not suffering from vertigo or similar conditions or on medication that could affect your safety.

This course is suitable if you are already experienced in climbing trees using work positioning systems and also are experienced in chainsaw use, including felling small trees up to 380mm. you will gain the knowledge, skills and understanding to carry out aerial cutting of trees with a chainsaw.
