Course Information

Tractor Driving and Related Operations

Duration: 3 day  including integrated assessment


Venue: We can arrange this on site training for groups of up to 4 people. You must have your own site and the necessary equipment/ machinery. Please provide details of the site and tractor you will be using in your enquiry.

Please contact us to discuss course options; site and machinery suitability and quotes. Please note we do not provide hire for equipment and PPE for this course.

Pre-requisites: None
There is a wide range of tractors in use today and if they are used correctly and maintained properly then they should pose very little risk to you or to anyone who is near to the machine. Sometimes accidents can happen, normally for very simple reasons, which is why training is always important. Whether you are a new or experienced user, this training course will provide you with an insight into safety awareness and risk assessment in order to reduce the likelihood of accidents occurring.

 

Who is it for?
This training course will suit you if you are currently using a tractor or are required to drive and operate a tractor as part of your work. The course is suitable for both novice and experienced users who would like their skills to be verified with certification.

Course units:

For this course you have the option to complete unit 0014 -221 Prepare and operate a tractor and attachments and/ or unit 0014-222 Operate a loader. Please let us know on booking.

Certification:

Learners who successfully complete the integrated assessment within this course will receive a City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate of Competence in Tractor Driving and Related Operations.
